On Sunday the 3rd of March, E.LA.M. paid tribute to Grigoris Afxentiou, second in command and a hero  of the E.O.K.A. struggle.
More than 200 nationalists went to the mountain of Maheras.

At the beginning the nationalist phalanx lined in front of the Monastery waiting for the ceremony to end then the members of E.LA.M. marched towards the hiding place where Afxentiou was killed by  british soldiers.
E.LA.M. as a successor of the E.O.K.A struggle continues to fight in order to liberate every corner of the Hellenic island of Cyprus.
